Steve
Sink, senior
partner and
owner, a CBI (Certified Business
Intermediary) and a Merger and Acquisition Intermediary.
Prior to becoming a business broker, Steve had
extensive experience in retail management, including running a
$40 million chain of office product stores and
Vice President of Franchise Development for a Fortune
500 company.
He has also started and sold businesses personally and
for corporations.
In addition to being a CBI, Steve is also a licensed
real estate agent.

Tom Thompson, senior
partner and
owner, has
an extensive background as an entrepreneur and in retail
management. He is former vice president of Thompson Food
Basket, operator of 12 conventional and price-impact
supermarkets in Illinois and Iowa. He was responsible
for procurement, marketing and advertising. Subsequent
to that, he built, owned and operated three restaurants.

David Abbott
has been an owner and CEO of four different businesses in the
field of cardiac devices, imaging, computer retail, and
international real estate. While working at Paine Webber
during college, David acquired his BS degree in finance. His
education and degree have been helpful, but the real education
came through working in the trenches trying to grow revenues,
increasing profit, juggling cash flow and meeting payroll.
David’s
passion lies with helping small business owners improve their
lifestyle, removing business frustration, developing business
strategies, identifying and increasing value, and helping
owners transitioning out of their company in a favorable
manner. David has life and health insurance licenses bringing
unique tax strategies for prefunding owners' exit strategy.

Ward Lane has spent thirty-three years as a
food broker, engaged in sales, marketing & merchandising,
of foods and non-foods to the retail grocery trade in
Illinois, eastern Iowa, and western Indiana. His
responsibilities included
executing new item introductions & promotions to corporate
buying staffs, managing the sales, service and office
personnel, and overseeing the daily company operations.
He was then Retail Development Manager for MultiAd's Kwikee
Systems Division, with national responsibility for calling on

Michael
Troup, founder,
owner, President of KeyBridge Partners, Inc. Mike holds
a B.S.B.A. in Management Science and a MBA specialized in
Finance from Saint Louis University, and has over twenty years
of financial and executive management experience. He has
extensive business experience in the United States, Canada,
and Russia.
Mike Troup has held various financial positions including
Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, Vice President and
Controller as well as served in various executive management
positions including as Executive Vice President, President and
on various Boards of Directors. Mike has been involved in
international fast growing organizations, start-ups, turn-arounds
and small to mid sized businesses and is knowledgeable in many
industries.
Mike
Troup is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA),
the oldest professional society devoted solely to the
appraisal of closely held businesses.
Additionally,
Mike is a licensed insurance professional in three states.
He enjoys community involvement, including:
serving as chair for the county ambulance board of
directors, member of economic development board, member of the
local university endowment committee and board member of the

Doug Van Zee has
been employed in the Sales and Service Sector for over 30
years. He is a member of the Multi Million Dollar Club. He is
involved in the following community organizations: Member

Relocation Specialist, Pella Lions Club Member and Past
President as well as currently the Iowa Kidsite Resource
